Narrative Round Ireland with a Fridge (2010):

The movie tells the story of a disillusioned television personality whose career has stalled and who is looking for answers but doesn't know the questions. When his best friend taunts him for losing his sense of adventure Tony accepts a drunken £100 bet and sets off with his unconventional traveling companion for an adventure that proved to be entertaining, educational, challenging and at times downright silly.

Round Ireland with a Fridge is a book by Tony Hawks, first published in the UK in 1998, shortly before Pete McCarthy's best seller, McCarthy's Bar. It sold over half a million copies. The book is loosely based on a journey made by Hawks in 1997, when he hitchhiked around Ireland while re-evaluating his life and career.

After spotting a man with a fridge hitch-hiking in Ireland, the author and comedian Tony Hawks took up a challenge to do the same thing for a month. The Irish warmed to this eccentric idea, making Tony and his travelling companion most welcome. He went on to write a book about his experiences entitled Round Ireland with a Fridge.

The story of Round Ireland with a Fridge is basically about a writer who is hitch-hiking in Ireland carrying a mini fridge. If you will notice, the story described is a purposeless idea, but a damn fine one. The story starts with a drunken friend that he followed but he quickly sobered up to realize what he was doing was absolutely ridiculous.
